Full-time The Content spcialist for Young Urban Project is an integral role. This is an individual contributor role, and you will primarily be responsible for content creation across channels. You should be able to generate good ideas and deliver exceptionally on briefs.
You are someone who can work autonomously and independently problem solve, as well as work with other functions to deliver results.
This role would suit someone who is proficient in Business English and has a passion for storytelling and communication, with a large portion of content delivered through writing, but other mediums as well (video, infographics, etc)
Location:
Panchkula (Chandigarh Tricity) – The candidate must be willing to relocate as this is a full-time in-office role.
Experience Required:
0-2 years of experience in content writing.
This role will include:
- Â Researching, planning, and creating content for Young Urban Project.
- Writing and editing content pieces for a variety of media including websites, blogs, social media, emails, and more.
- Working with program teams to create informational material.
- Completing content audits and creating content marketing strategies that are aligned with brand goals, objectives, and industry standards.
- Producing content within agreed-upon timelines.
- Liaise and receive feedback from the internal team, and implement feedback given through the editing process.
- Report the performance and optimize based on the learnings.
- Working closely with other teams.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in creating and executing digital content.
- We are looking for someone with 0-2 years of experience in writing content for a brand/agency/as a freelancer.
- An excellent writer with a proven ability to write engaging and accurate copy.
- Editing and proofing skills with strong attention to detail – exceptional spelling, grammar, and command of the English language.
- A passion for all things content, and a keen interest to stay on top of the latest industry trends.
- A high level of personal organization and the ability to take ownership and manage projects with many moving parts.
- Basic understanding of using generative AI tools like ChatGPT will be an added advantage.
